After the successful first edition in 2018, the C+R Cup took place again this year. On the weekend of 19/20 October, a total of 40 teams were guests at the sports grounds for the U11 and U13 juniors. The boys and girls played a total of 134 games at full throttle and showed beautiful moves and great goals (the future of the national team is definitely secured!). It is also worth mentioning that everything was peaceful and tolerant and that fair play was emphasised by players and coaches.
Nevertheless, there had to be two winners in the end: FC Wacker Innsbruck won the U11 boys' competition, while TSV 1860 Rosenheim were the winners in the U13 age group. These two teams have the honour of taking part in next year's Cordial Cup in the Kitzbühel / Wilder Kaiser region at Whitsun, where they can compete against big names such as FC Barcelona, FC Chelsea, Juventus Turin, Ajax Amsterdam, RB Salzburg, FC Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund.
In addition to the many hard-working helpers from Kirchheimer SC, some C+R employees were also on site with active support to contribute to an all-round successful weekend. A special highlight for everyone involved was the C+R beer, which was very well received and sold like hot cakes by the players' parents, the organisers, helpers and, of course, the C+R employees..
